Applicants between 18 to 20 years of age may be granted a CDL for intrastate commerce only and cannot transport passengers for hire or hazardous materials requiring placards.
  • Medical Examination Card (if required) - You must certify the type of driving you do, and if you are "non-excepted", you must present a Medical Examination Card completed by a Certified Medical Examiner. See the license application or www.dmvnv.com/certify for details.

The DMV will run a national check.
