A Class C CDL is required to drive any single vehicle, or combination of vehicles, that does not meet the
definition of Class A or Class B (ie: does not exceed 26,000 pounds GVWR), but is either designed to transport 16 or more
passengers (less for school bus), including the driver, or is placarded for hazardous materials.
The Class C Passenger Transport Bundle is for shuttle-type buses that are non-schoolbus and not carrying hazardous materials
requiring placarding. If you drive a light bus requiring HazMat placarding; purchase the Class C HazMat Bundle AND add the
Passenger Vehicles Endorsement separately. Check the official CDL Information website for details.
In order to obtain a Class C Schoolbus CDL, you MUST successfully pass ALL of the following CDL Tests . . .
General Knowledge CDL written test.
Passenger Vehicles CDL written test.
School Bus CDL written test.
Three-part CDL Skills tests in a representative-type vehicle.
This bundle does NOT include the Air Brakes Test since very few Class C type commercial vehicles have air brakes.
Depending upon the type of loads you carry, you may need additional endorsements.

Preparing for CDL Tests - Taking CDL Tests . . .
Our products help to prepare you to be able to pass the required
CDL Tests. The actual CDL written tests must be taken in-person and with proper identification, at the
state office under the authority and audit of government personnel. Our CDL training program is totally online and does not
include any training in an actual vehicle. After receiving your CLP (commercial license permit), you will likely
need to get some behind-the-wheel experience to be able to pass the three-part
CDL skills tests. You may choose to get this experience
through a friend, relative, employer or truck driving school. The actual CDL three-part skills tests will be given by either a state examiner or by a atate approved independant examiner. Depending upon the
location; the CDL test vehicle will be provided by the examiner, or will be the
responsibility of the applicant (a qualified CDL holder must be in the vehicle
until your CDL is issued).
CDL Fees and Associated Costs . . .
The entire amount paid to us is strictly for the CDL Test Prep Program materials purchased on this website. YOU are responsible
for additional CDL fees as established under State and/or Federal law and rules, third party testers, medical examiners, finger
printing, background checks, truck rental fees, etc., as may be applicable.
