Rhode Island Class C CDL Passenger Bus Learner Permit Training

A Class C CDL is required to drive any single vehicle, or combination of vehicles, that does not meet the definition of Class A or Class B (ie: does not exceed 26,000 pounds GVWR), but is either designed to transport 16 or more passengers (less for school bus), including the driver, or is placarded for hazardous materials. The Class C Passenger Transport Bundle is for shuttle-type buses that are non-schoolbus and not carrying hazardous materials requiring placarding. If you drive a light bus requiring HazMat placarding; purchase the Class C HazMat Bundle AND add the Passenger Vehicles Endorsement separately.
